The Sonora Police Department is offering an Autism Safety Alert Form to assist with interactions between police officers and individuals affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or others with special needs.
The form is a free resource available for children, teens, and adults with ASD. The form helps individuals communicate clearly with law enforcement/emergency personnel and includes information such as the person’s name, disability, emergency contact, and any specific triggers.
