Re: Computer Upgrade/Maintenance Contract
RECOMMANDATIONS:
City of Sonora City Council approves the installation of the California Department of Justice approved firewall on the Computer Network at the Sonora Police Department. The installation will be done by Computer Logistics Corporation of Redding, California. Cost $5,500.00.
City of Sonora City Council authorizes the City Administrator to sign the attached contract with Computer Logistics Corporation of Redding California to provide computer network maintenance at the Sonora Police Department. Cost: $95.00 per hour as needed.
BACKGROUND:
As part of the Measure I implementation plan, the Sonora City Council approved the purchase of equipment to upgrade technology at the Sonora Police Department.
DISCUSSION:
Requests for Proposals
were requested to upgrade the computer network at the Sonora Police Department.
The Request for Proposal was advertised in the Union Democrat. Only one proposal
was received. Computer Logistics Corporation (CLC) has been serving Government
Agencies since 1986. They are currently servicing 20 law enforcement agencies
from Yreka California to Bishop California. The attached RFP was received from
Computer Logistics Corporation and meets the requirements of the RFP.
